The Home Secretary Rt Hon James Cleverly MP and the Chief Constable of the Derbyshire Constabulary have confirmed they will take steps to act upon the Prevention of Future Deaths Report emanating from the conclusions of the Gracie Spinks inquest.
A focussed, practical and effective change in the policing of Stalking and Harassment across the Nationwide is promised. The Home Office and Police taking an initial step towards implementing the proposals in the carefully drafted Prevention of Future Deaths Report should be viewed as a positive development.
