Who will be my lawyer?

At Garrick Law we believe that everyone deserves top-class legal representation. That is why all our clients are represented by one of our client relationship directors, each of whom is also a professional lawyer. They will take personal responsibility for your case. They will meet with you face to face, and be available for your phone calls and emails. They will put together a legal team of other solicitors, barristers, and whichever experts you need. You can talk to any of the other team members as you need to, but be assured that your client relationship director is still in charge, and will supervise your case.

Garrick Law is one of the only firms in the country that is run jointly by barristers and solicitors. This means that one of our own barristers can review your case at an early stage and work with your client relationship director. This makes it easier for us to decide the best strategy and build the best team for you. In the long run this can also reduce your costs.

Garrick Law is a private criminal defence and family law firm. Therefore we don’t accept cases that are publicly funded through legal aid. The drastic cuts to legal aid mean that many publicly funded lawyers now have to work very quickly, and have limited time for each client. In contrast, private funding allows your lawyer to devote more time and attention to your case. As a result, we can spend more time going through the detail of the evidence, looking for flaws and inconsistencies in the opposition case, and communicating with you. This increases your chances of a successful outcome. This exceptional legal service isn’t just for the super wealthy. Our structure allows us to maintain very competitive fees, including fixed fees for many cases.
